What
is a Giclée print?
Giclée is a French term that means; to forcefully spray.
The giclée printing process retains incredible detail and
provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.
The quality of the giclée print rivals traditional silver-halide
and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums,
art galleries, and photographic galleries.
Our
Giclée Prints
All prints offered on this site are Epson Giclée reproductions
produced from a high resolution drum scan of a 4 x 5 transparency
of the original paintings and printed using archival quality inks,
paper, and canvas. Each print is personally inspected, signed,
and numbered by Jessa Huebing-Reitinger. Each print is shipped
with a certificate of authenticity that also contains detailed
information about the print, framing, and care instructions.
Important
Purchasing
Information
Our giclée prints are made as they are ordered. We place
an order with our printer once to twice a month. Printing, shipping,
and inspection times take approximately 3 to 4 weeks from the
time of purchase. If you have a special occasion and need a print
in less time please send your request via email to jessa@projectinsect.com
and we will try our best to accommodate your request.
Replacement
Guarantee
When you purchase a limited edition print, you have bought the
rights to the number of your print. Your certificate of authenticity
is important because it identifies which image, size, and number
was given to you. Make an extra copy and keep it in a safe place.
If your print suffers any type of damage in the future, the certificate
will ensure a replacement print at printer’s cost containing
the same image, size, and limited edition numbers. Send us part
or all of the damaged print along with a copy of the certificate
and we will simply order a new print, inspect it, sign and number
it and send it off to you. (Printer’s costs with no mark
up and shipping will apply).
