  • Scheduled “Bug Trunk” animated skits with James Huebing-Reitinger which requires fun educational participation from an audience of all ages
  • Self Discovery Microscope Station-A diverse variety of specimens for viewing and exploration of all ages
  • Interactive dialogue and demonstrations with both artists of Project InSECT 5 days a week for all ages and any size group
  • Self guided puzzle booklets about the paintings in the exhibit for all ages
  • Draw Your Own Bug Art Station for younger ages
  • Mini Insect Zoo-Live insects and arachnids for observation and handling (where applicable)

Innovative Educational Contents

  • Visitors observe the painting and scientific illustrator processes with Jessa Huebing-Reitinger live on site. In addition, web cams and flat screen televisions coming in 2007
  • Artists focus on an indigenous invertebrate including endangered or threatened species and its habitat locally
  • 10 minute award winning documentary about Project InSECT artists and paintings playing continuously 7 days a week
  • Take home coloring pages and project sheets about insects, art, and conservation of our planet earth
